Unraveling the Mystery: 'Brave Detectives 4' Investigates a Baffling Disappearance
The 73rd episode of 'Brave Detectives 4', airing on the 27th on Tcast E Channel (directed by Lee Ji-sun), features former KCSI Commissioner Yoon Wae-chul and Inspector Kim Jin-soo, who will reveal their investigation logs. Actor Lee Sang-yeob is also set to make a guest appearance.
The episode kicks off with a report of two women in their 40s disappearing simultaneously in a local area. The last person to see them was a friend they lived with, who mentioned they were stepping out for a quick errand but lost contact for four days.
Upon receiving the report, police tracked the missing women's cell phone tower locations, quickly escalating the case to a serious crime investigation. Signals were detected once about five minutes from their home and again approximately 20 minutes away. The final signal was traced to a remote mountain area, suggesting a troubling turn of events.
The investigation team hit a major roadblock while tracking the vehicle the women drove. Despite tracing its route, there was no record of the car leaving the original area. A massive search involving 8,500 personnel yielded no significant clues. The case of the two women and their vehicle disappearing without a trace could have remained unsolved, but 'Brave Detectives 4' aims to uncover the truth.
'Brave Detectives 4' airs every Friday at 9:50 PM and is available on major OTT platforms like Netflix, TVING, and Wavve. Viewers can also find updates and videos on E Channel's official YouTube and Instagram.
Additionally, the E Channel original web variety show 'Detective Talk', expanding on the 'Brave Detectives' universe, shares behind-the-scenes stories of investigations and real-life cases of executed criminals in South Korea. It is released every Friday at 7 PM on the 'Detective Talk' YouTube channel.
