On the upcoming October 27th episode of KBS 2TV's 'New Release, Pyeonstorang', a new chef makes a bold entrance. It's none other than Sunye, formerly of the iconic group Wonder Girls.
As Sunye appeared in the 'Pyeonstorang' studio, she was greeted with enthusiastic applause. Special MC Kim Yong-bin expressed his excitement, admitting, "Back in the day, I also danced to 'Tell Me'. I was a huge fan."
The VCR segment revealed Sunye's cooking prowess as a 14-year homemaker and mother of three. She skillfully prepared dishes with quick hands and seasoned them by eye. Impressively, she makes her own condiments from natural ingredients, including soy sauce, chili oil, and various seasoning powders.
As she prepared side dishes for her daughters, she shared valuable cooking tips, showcasing her expertise. The 'Pyeonstorang' crew marveled, "This isn't the Sunye from the 'Tell Me' days. She's returned as a seasoned 14-year homemaker." Sunye reminisced, "I got married at 24 and moved to Canada. I took cookbooks with me and tried everything, learning through trial and error to create my own recipes."
