Oh Seung-hwan has a deep connection with the WBC. He first donned the national team jersey in the inaugural 2006 WBC, helping South Korea reach the semifinals, and was part of the team that finished as runners-up in the 2009 tournament. This year's WBC will see the first round held in Tokyo, with the quarterfinals onward taking place in Miami, USA. With a record of 500 saves across Korea, the US, and Japan, Oh is expected to bring insightful commentary drawn from his extensive experience on the mound in all three countries.

The WBC broadcast kicks off on March 5. MBC will air the Group C opener between Taiwan and Australia at 12 PM, followed by South Korea's match against the Czech Republic at 6 PM, along with other key WBC games.
