Shin Dong-yup Opens Up About Ex-Girlfriend Lee So-ra on YouTube Show 'Jjanhanyoung'

Shin Dong-yup, a popular South Korean entertainer, recently mentioned his ex-girlfriend Lee So-ra on his YouTube channel 'Jjanhanyoung'.

On October 23, a new episode titled 'Fair One-Shot → Drunkenness (feat. Yutnori Disaster) Lee Jae-ryong, Yoon Da-hoon, Sung Ji-roo, Ahn Jae-wook [Jjanhanyoung EP.133] Shin Dong-yup, Jung Ho-chul' was uploaded. In this episode, actors Lee Jae-ryong, Yoon Da-hoon, Sung Ji-roo, and Ahn Jae-wook joined Shin Dong-yup for a candid conversation.

During the gathering, Shin Dong-yup shared, "This happened when I appeared on Lee So-ra's YouTube channel." Previously, Shin Dong-yup's appearance on Lee So-ra's channel had garnered significant attention.

Shin Dong-yup revealed, "(Lee So-ra) told me she couldn't attend Ahn Jae-wook's wedding because she was worried I might be there. She was afraid of running into me." Ahn Jae-wook responded, "That's not an easy thing to admit," to which Shin Dong-yup humorously exclaimed, "Why not!"

Ahn Jae-wook also shared his side of the story. He recalled, "One day, I met Lee So-ra, and she apologized for missing my wedding. I thought, 'It's understandable if you're busy,' but she explained, 'I was worried Shin Dong-yup might be there... If we ran into each other, people might gossip instead of focusing on the wedding.'" Lee Jae-ryong added, "It shows that So-ra is more thoughtful than Dong-yup," bringing laughter to everyone.

The episode also featured Ahn Jae-wook sharing an anecdote about his experience after brain surgery. He said, "I had brain surgery 10 years ago and couldn't drink or smoke for 15 months." He continued, "About a year after the surgery, my close friends wanted to meet up because they were worried. Sitting with them while they drank, I realized something scary."

Ahn Jae-wook explained, "We talked while they drank for about three and a half hours. Then, one friend repeated what he said when he first arrived. I was shocked and thought, 'He's repeating himself because he's drunk.' But the scariest part was that the others responded as if they were hearing it for the first time. It was terrifying," he said, causing laughter in the studio. Ahn Jae-wook underwent surgery for acute cerebral hemorrhage in 2013.
