Reflecting on his discharge, Gree expressed, "I can't believe it. I'm happy." When asked about phone usage during service, he explained, "We get our phones from 6 PM to 9 PM." Discussing the duration of military service, Gree noted, "These days, the service period is shorter, with the private rank lasting only two months."

The topic of military salary also came up. Gree revealed, "As a sergeant, I earned about 1.5 million won, and with savings, it totaled 2 million won." When Cho Jin-se expressed surprise at the potential to save a significant amount, Gree humorously added, "I saved nearly 20 million won. As a sergeant, you earn more and have less to do, so I suddenly thought about staying longer. Towards the end, I even considered staying if I didn't have a job lined up outside."

Gree also shared a humorous anecdote about how he benefited from knowing aespa's Karina during his service. "In the training camp, people would ask if I knew any female celebrities or aespa, so I boasted that I knew Karina," he said, laughing. "Every weekend, we had religious activities where we could get chocolate snacks. When I said I knew Karina, they offered them to me." He concluded by sending a video message to Karina, thanking her for making his military life easier.
