Actor Go Soo Reflects on His Early Career Struggles and Memorable Roles
On the October 22nd episode of TV Chosun's 'Baekban Journey with Heo Young-man' (hereafter 'Baekban Journey'), Go Soo explored the culinary delights of Busan.
During the episode, Go Soo visited local eateries in Busan, the filming location for his drama 'Piano' and movie 'The Front Line', even taking the wheel himself to show his enthusiasm.
When asked if he always dreamed of being an actor, Go Soo replied, "No, it wasn't my initial dream. I wasn't street-cast either. I distributed a lot of profile photos and attended numerous auditions."
Go Soo cited 'Piano', where he played a character with feelings for his stepsister, as his most challenging role. "Due to my limited acting experience, I relied on instinctive acting. I haven't done many light-hearted romantic roles; most of my work has been emotionally intense," he explained.
He added, "In the movie 'Love 911', I played a character who, after losing his wife, is pursued by someone persistent, leading to a romantic storyline. It was about cherishing a love that had passed."
