A couple, whose romance is filled with excitement, faces a shocking twist as they encounter the tragic death of a friend amidst their intertwined destinies.

On the 20th, at 10 PM, SBS aired the 9th episode of 'From Today, I'm Human' (directed by Kim Jeong-kwon, written by Park Chan-young and Jo Ah-young), where Eun-ho (played by Kim Hye-yoon) and Kang Si-yeol (played by Lomon) confirmed their feelings for each other and officially began dating.

In this episode, Kang Si-yeol surprised Eun-ho, who wanted to erase her memories, by saying, "Can't I at least do this my way?" and kissed her unexpectedly. He drew a line by telling the flustered Eun-ho that he couldn't engage in a playful relationship and sincerely confessed, "If we're going to do this, let's do it right."

Despite the sudden confession making them awkward enough to stay up all night, they soon held hands, enjoying walks and workouts together, creating a fresh and youthful couple's atmosphere.

Their deepening affection faced real-world challenges. Eun-ho, trying to help Kang Si-yeol, who was disheartened by the end of a sponsorship deal for his soccer team, took a part-time job at a supermarket but was fired after causing accidents on her first day.

Unable to earn her daily wage, Eun-ho secretly sold the family's air conditioner to raise 200,000 won, but her actions were discovered by her colleagues, Seo Beom (played by Yoo Hwan) and Hwang Chi-soo (played by Kim Tae-jung), leading her to tears. Kang Si-yeol comforted the sobbing Eun-ho with a warm embrace, saying, "Let's not be too anxious," offering her gentle reassurance.

Towards the end of the episode, a shocking event plunged them into despair. Hyun Woo-seok (played by Jang Dong-joo), who had been living with Kang Si-yeol's fate, collapsed from a sudden heart attack before a national team match, leaving his life hanging in the balance.

Upon hearing the news, Kang Si-yeol was thrown into turmoil at the thought that his friend might die in his place and asked Eun-ho how to reverse their fates. However, Eun-ho heightened the tension by explaining that even if she returned to her original state, there was no way to revive her friend or reverse the changed destiny.
