Japanese Top Model Shiho Yano Opens Up About Her Struggles Before Fame

Japanese top model and wife of Choo Sung-hoon, Shiho Yano, has opened up about her tearful struggles during her early career.

On the 20th, the YouTube channel 'Shiho Yano' released a video titled "Shiho Yano's Full Story of Moving to Tokyo (ft. Tearful First Audition, Favorite Udon Shop)."

The video captures Shiho Yano's journey to Tokyo, including her first apartment in the city, which drew attention.

She reminisced, "I was in high school, and this place was midway between my company and school. Back then, I didn't even know there was a park here because I was so busy."

She then visited her second apartment, only to find it no longer existed, which saddened her. Shiho Yano expressed her disappointment, saying, "Choo Sung-hoon also lost his home in Busan, so I understand how that feels."

Visiting her favorite udon shop with the production team, Shiho Yano shared her challenging early days as a model.

She confessed, "I went to numerous magazine shoots and TV commercial auditions but got rejected a lot. TV commercials required camera tests, and if you couldn't act, it was embarrassing," revealing her feelings at the time.

She also hinted that she wasn't an overnight success, saying, "Even though I worked hard, I kept getting rejected."

Finally, at the age of 23, she felt she had succeeded. Shiho Yano recalled, "I cut my hair around 23. It was done by a very famous hairstylist. People would go to salons and ask for the 'Shiho bob cut,' and it became a huge trend. I appeared in a famous magazine, and it was a big hit."

She endured five years of tears before achieving success. When asked by the production team what she would say to her younger self, Shiho Yano tearfully replied, "A lot of fun things are going to happen."
