Choi Yeo-jin Addresses Rumors About Her Husband, Including Infidelity Allegations

Actress Choi Yeo-jin has put an end to rumors about her husband, including allegations of infidelity.

On the 19th, Choi appeared on the YouTube channel 'Mibji's Unlikable Attention-seeking Sister' alongside Lee Ji-hye and Jo Hye-ryun.

Before addressing the infidelity rumors, Choi clarified suspicions regarding her husband's alleged involvement with a cult.

She explained, "The name of my husband's business coincidentally matches the name of a certain religious group in Gapyeong."

Choi added, "We even received a call from the legal team, asking us to clarify that we are not involved, as they were experiencing damage." She also denied rumors linking her husband to the Hanwha Group's second generation.

When asked to clarify her relationship with her husband's ex-wife, Choi emphasized, "I used to have meals with his ex-wife, calling her 'sister,' but I did not take him away from her." She added, "I met my husband long after his divorce. We spent a lot of time together working out."

Choi further clarified, "We never lived together in the same house with his ex-wife. We lived separately." She continued, "His ex-wife is a year younger than me, and I always addressed her respectfully as 'manager.' We are not close enough to keep in touch."

Previously, Choi had addressed rumors on her YouTube channel about living with her fiancé and his ex-wife under one roof.

She stated, "I have never lived in the same house with them. There are ten houses here, and I lived alone in one of them." She explained, "There were rumors that I lived with people I called mom and dad, but I rented a seasonal room to train until I reached a near-professional level. The system here doesn't allow for living under one roof, and since his ex-wife ran a restaurant, I had no choice but to eat there."

Meanwhile, Choi Yeo-jin married sports entrepreneur Kim Jae-wook, who is seven years her senior, in June last year. Their married life was featured on SBS's 'You Are My Destiny - Same Bed, Different Dreams.'
