MBC's 'Save Me! Holmes' Cast Embarks on a Winter Adventure in the Remote Mountains of Jeongseon
On the episode aired on the night of the 19th at 10 PM, Yang Se-hyung, Yang Se-chan, Ahn Jae-hyun, and Kim Dae-ho ventured into a remote village in Jeongseon, where even mobile signals are hard to come by, to continue their winter survival mission.
During the broadcast, the four members, Yang Se-hyung, Yang Se-chan, Ahn Jae-hyun, and Kim Dae-ho, fully immersed themselves in the isolated environment, experiencing life by sledding in sub-zero temperatures and fetching water manually.
Ahn Jae-hyun, in particular, provided comic relief with his clumsy antics, such as being startled by his own shadow in the kitchen and struggling with the weight of a heavy backpack. Yang Se-hyung humorously remarked that Ahn's physical comedy could rival that of professional comedians.
The main house tour revealed the intriguing blend of analog charm and modern convenience in the remote house. The log cabin visited by Ahn Jae-hyun and Yang Se-chan boasted picturesque mountain views, yet inside, they discovered a surprising array of modern appliances like induction cooktops and tablets. Yang Se-chan expressed his surprise at finding these modern items hidden behind the facade of a naturalist's lifestyle.
Additionally, the episode featured 'OjiBro,' an expert in extreme outdoor camping, who demonstrated the essence of winter camping. Under the expert's guidance, the cast prepared for a night in the wild, enduring sub-zero temperatures. Yang Se-chan impressed everyone with his outdoor skills, even considering insert shot timings while cooking ramen, which made even the famously light-eating Joo Woo-jae hungry. The cast's adventure in the remote wilderness concluded warmly as they settled into their campsite, reflecting on the true meaning of rest and dwelling in extreme conditions.
