Kim Hyung-mook Delivers Timeless Laughter on KBS2's 'Soul Beam'
On January 16, Kim Hyung-mook showcased his irreplaceable charm on KBS2's Lunar New Year special program 'Soul Beam'. He appeared in the final segment, 'Joseon's Chef', as a judge with the finest palate, 'JYP', evaluating rice cake dishes made by Stray Kids. The caption humorously read, "I am the real JYP," drawing attention.
Kim's entrance was nothing short of spectacular. Dressed in an outfit reminiscent of Park Jin-young, he made his way from the audience to the tune of 'Don't Leave Me', captivating both Stray Kids and the audience with his playful lip-syncing and smooth moves. He perfectly mimicked Park Jin-young's signature expressions, adding to the comedic effect.
Kim Hyung-mook's presence remained strong until the end. As all Stray Kids members returned from the Joseon era to 2026, Kim humorously raised his hand, saying, "If it's not too much trouble, I'd like to go with you." He added, "I'm filming a drama in 2026," and didn't miss the chance to promote KBS2's weekend drama 'Prescribing Love', which airs every Saturday and Sunday, further proving his 'scene-stealer' reputation.
Kim Hyung-mook can be seen every weekend on 'Prescribing Love' and tvN's 'Undercover Miss Hong'.
