New JTBC Drama 'Efficient Meeting of Singles' to Premiere with Exciting Romance

Jung Hye-sung and Joo Yeon-woo are set to create a romantic storyline in the upcoming JTBC weekend drama 'Efficient Meeting of Singles'.

Premiering on October 28 at 10:40 PM, the drama will feature Jung Hyun-min (played by Jung Hye-sung) and Im Seung-jun (played by Joo Yeon-woo) as they weave a different emotional narrative alongside Lee Yi-young's (played by Han Ji-min) romance, raising the excitement levels.

The story revolves around Lee Yi-young (Han Ji-min), who changes her perspective to pursue intentional meetings for successful dating. She gets involved in a matchmaking scenario with Song Tae-seop (Park Sung-hoon) and Shin Ji-soo (Lee Ki-taek), promising to captivate viewers with another potential couple's dynamic.

Jung Hye-sung's character, Jung Hyun-min, is an employee in the purchasing team at The Hills Hotel and a close junior to Lee Yi-young. Known for her open-mindedness, candid personality, and adaptability, she exudes a seasoned aura despite being a junior employee. Her dating philosophy prioritizes tempo over depth and freedom over seriousness, not considering romance as the entirety of life.

Joo Yeon-woo plays PT trainer Im Seung-jun, Lee Yi-young's childhood friend, maintaining a genuine friendship without any romantic awareness. Despite his tall stature and broad shoulders, which might deter confrontation, he has a surprisingly timid side. He prefers a planned routine over impulsive actions, living within a structured daily schedule.

Despite their contrasting personalities and life experiences, these two characters will unexpectedly intertwine, forming another romantic storyline. The anticipation builds around what kind of excitement this unlikely pairing will create and what story their connection will unfold.
