Actor Choi Dae-chul Reveals Um Ji-won's Secret Hobby on 'Radio Star'

Actor Choi Dae-chul has exposed Um Ji-won's secret hobby of 'sneaky filming.'

On the October 18th episode of MBC's variety show 'Radio Star,' the special titled '2026 Thumbs Up! Grabbing the End of This Theory' featured guests Um Ji-won, Choi Dae-chul, singer Kim Jo-han, and honorary Briton Baek Jin-kyung.

During the show, Choi Dae-chul revealed that Um Ji-won, with whom he co-starred in the drama 'Please Take Care of the Eagle Five Brothers!', has a hobby of secretly filming. He said, "She is good at capturing moments when people are drunk. Videos appear in our group chat, and I have asked her to delete them. She films naturally while she is sober."

In response, Um Ji-won explained, "I film openly, but people don't notice because they're drunk," adding, "The videos I upload are just the tip of the iceberg. There are much more intense ones." She further explained, "I can drink well and control myself, so I don't get drunk easily."

Um Ji-won also shared an anecdote about piercing her tongue due to co-star Kim Dong-wan from 'Please Take Care of the Eagle Five Brothers!'. She described Kim Dong-wan as a 'jack-of-all-trades' among actors, knowledgeable about medicine and hospitals.

She continued, "One day, Kim Dong-wan pierced his tongue to draw blood and said it made his skin clearer and improved his condition. I was going through a tough time, so I went to the same clinic," she said, describing the procedure of flipping the tongue and pricking it with a needle to release stagnant blood. "It was scary to see the blood come out, but it was also satisfying," she added.

Choi Dae-chul commented, "After she came back, she said, 'It's a new world. I don't have a headache at all.' So I went and did the same thing."
