Apink's Chorong and Hayoung Reveal Extreme Dieting Struggles from Their Rookie Days
Apink members Chorong and Hayoung recently shared stories of their extreme dieting experiences during their early days in the industry, evoking both sympathy and laughter from fans.

The revelations came during a video titled 'From Dorm Stories to Fights, and Super Junior's Picks - All Revealed by Mr. Chu~ On the Lips' on the YouTube channel 'Donghaemul and Baekdu Eunhyuk,' run by Super Junior's Donghae and Eunhyuk.

In the video, Eunhyuk reminisced about the time a decade ago when Super Junior and Apink were contenders for the top spot on music shows, noting the passage of time and complimenting each other's unchanging appearances, setting a lighthearted tone.

During the conversation, Eunhyuk and Donghae asked the duo, now 14 years into their careers, about changes in their management styles. Hayoung readily agreed, and Chorong admitted, "Now, even if I try to starve myself like before, I can't lose weight, and it's too exhausting to even try."

They confessed that during their debut, they faced intense pressure to manage their diets due to their larger frames. They resorted to extreme measures like eating only raw vegetables without dressing or squeezing lemons for detox, which they now recognize as harsh and unwise.

A humorous escape from their dietary restrictions was also revealed. Chorong exposed that Hayoung used to hide snacks using a doll prop. Hayoung explained, "I would hide snacks in the gaps of the doll's hat," recalling a time when she was caught and scolded.

Hayoung, who was only in the third year of middle school at the time, expressed how difficult it was to resist eating what she wanted, sharing the hardships of their rookie days.
