Unexpected Fire Incident Leads to Marriage for 'I Am Solo' Stars Jeong-suk and Sang-cheol

Jeong-suk and Sang-cheol, stars of the reality show 'I Am Solo,' have officially become a married couple after overcoming an unexpected fire incident.

On Jeong-suk's YouTube channel 'Jeong-sang Couple,' a video titled 'I Am Solo 28th Season Jeong-suk and Sang-cheol's Marriage Registration Adventure: Fire Report to 119, Marriage Registration Nationwide' was uploaded.

The video captures the couple, who tied the knot last December, visiting a district office to complete their marriage registration. After a previous failed attempt due to a lost bag, they made another attempt during Sang-cheol's lunch break at a district office in Cheongju. The staff warmly welcomed them by displaying their baby's nickname 'Nasol-i' in neon lights. Jeong-suk expressed her delight, saying, "Unlike in Seoul, I can really feel the program's popularity here in Cheongju."

However, the smooth process was interrupted when a fire broke out in the basement of the district office building. As they were evacuated, Jeong-suk anxiously remarked, "Is the sky trying to stop us from registering our marriage?" Sang-cheol was equally taken aback by the fire trucks arriving at the scene. With the fire taking longer to extinguish, Sang-cheol had to return to work, leaving Jeong-suk to wait alone for the situation to resolve.

After the commotion settled, Jeong-suk finally submitted the marriage registration, expressing relief, "What should have been a quick process turned into quite an ordeal."

Meanwhile, Jeong-suk and Sang-cheol made headlines as the first couple from 'I Am Solo' to have a pre-marital pregnancy. Their baby's nickname is 'Nasol-i,' and they are expecting a son in May next year.
