"I had no one to watch it with (laughs). Somehow, I wanted to watch it alone. I received a lot of messages about the final episode. From the staff, director, writer, Seo-won, Jung-nam, Jun-young, everyone reached out to say we did a great job."

On the 11th, at a cafe in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam, Seoul, an interview was held with Ahn Bo-hyun following the conclusion of tvN's 'Spring Fever'. Based on a webtoon, 'Spring Fever' tells the story of Yoon Bom (played by Lee Joo-bin), a teacher with a cold demeanor, and Seon Jae-kyu (played by Ahn Bo-hyun), a man with a fiery heart, as they melt each other's frozen hearts in a hot pink spring romance. The drama concluded on the 10th with its highest viewership rating of 5.7% (Nielsen Korea, paid households), marking a successful end. In the interview held the day after the final episode, Ahn Bo-hyun shared that he watched the finale alone.

Ahn Bo-hyun played the role of Seon Jae-kyu, a 'charming straight shooter' who can melt even the coldest hearts. Known for his solid build at 187cm, he was a boxing athlete during his school days and worked as a model before debuting as an actor. In contrast, Lee Joo-bin, who played Yoon Bom, is known to be 161cm tall. This difference not only added to the storyline but also created a 'size chemistry' that appealed to viewers visually. Born in 1988, Ahn Bo-hyun is a peer of Lee Joo-bin, who was born in 1989. While there were reactions supporting their 'real-life couple' chemistry, Ahn's revelation of watching the finale alone suggests no personal romantic development.

Reflecting on 'Spring Fever', Ahn Bo-hyun said, "I felt very proud because of all the compliments. Seeing everyone smiling while exchanging calls made the lingering feelings from this project feel even more special. It wasn't just about the main character living well, but about resolving misunderstandings and building affection among the village people, which made the ending feel particularly warm."

Ahn Bo-hyun has kicked off the year successfully with 'Spring Fever' and is set to begin filming for SBS's 'Rebel Detective 2'. He shared, "Last year, aside from a movie release, I had little activity in broadcasting or media. I will carry the positive energy from 'Spring Fever' into the 'Rebel Detective 2' set and do my best," he said with a smile.

"I am also waiting for the release of 'God's Marble', a project that challenged me with new visuals and acting styles that you haven't seen before. I'm curious about the results and hope the day of its release comes soon, given its massive scale of production."

Emphasizing the positive energy he gained from 'Spring Fever', Ahn Bo-hyun added, "I will be joining 'Rebel Detective 2' the day after tomorrow, and I feel confident that I can greet everyone with a more vibrant appearance."
