Actress Lee Joo-bin Shines in 'Spring Fever' and Shares Her Beauty Secrets

On the 13th, at a cafe in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam, Seoul, an interview was held to mark the conclusion of tvN's 'Spring Fever.' Actress Lee Joo-bin shared her thoughts. Born in 1989, she candidly discussed her work and personal life. Despite being in her mid-to-late 30s, she captivates audiences with her youthful appearance. Many are surprised by her actual age, often commenting, "She looks so young," and "She doesn't look her age at all."

'Spring Fever' is a drama based on a web novel of the same name. It tells the story of Yoon Bom (played by Lee Joo-bin), a teacher with a cold demeanor, and Seon Jae-kyu (played by Ahn Bo-hyun), a man with a passionate heart. The drama concluded on the 10th with its highest viewership rating of 5.7% (Nielsen Korea, paid households).

Lee Joo-bin played the role of Yoon Bom, an ethics teacher at Shinsu High School and a voluntary outsider with a frozen heart. Once lively, she became withdrawn after being falsely accused of having an affair. Meeting Seon Jae-kyu in Shinsu-eup, she gradually opens her heart and overcomes her past wounds. Lee Joo-bin was praised for her deep portrayal of Yoon Bom's journey from being trapped in past traumas to healing through love.

Lee Joo-bin made her public debut in the 2017 SBS drama 'Whisper.' Before her acting career, she was known as a trainee for DSP Media's girl group. Although she didn't debut at a particularly young age, she has steadily built her filmography. In 2024, she gained recognition as a supporting lead in tvN's 'Queen of Tears' and later secured main roles in tvN's 'Divorce Insurance' and KBS2's 'Twelve.' While her first leading roles didn't achieve significant commercial success, her performance in 'Spring Fever' was well-received, solidifying her presence as a leading actress.

Lee Joo-bin is loved for her strong acting skills and doll-like urban beauty. Regarding her youthful appearance, she candidly shared, "It's a cliché, but sleep is the most important. I'm making a big effort to cut down on coffee and alcohol. I drink a lot of water and regularly visit the dermatologist."

In 2024, she appeared on the tvN variety show 'Europe Outside the Tent,' where she gained attention for resisting the temptation of late-night ramen. While other members indulged at the Hallstatt campsite, Lee Joo-bin only drank water. She explained, "I usually eat late-night snacks, but I didn't that day because I had little time to sleep due to filming. I had a schedule the next day, and eating late would have affected my digestion and the shoot. So, I refrained from eating that night."
