Running Man: Ji Ye-eun Asks Kim Jong-kook for Wedding Song, Roy Kim Returns After 10 Years
The episode, aired on the 15th, featured a 'Seollal Special' race with guest appearances by singers Kyuhyun and Roy Kim.
Roy Kim revealed that it had been a decade since his last appearance on 'Running Man,' reminiscing, "The last time I was here, there were 100 celebrities." He was referring to a previous episode featuring a large group of guests. Ji Suk-jin was credited with bringing him back on the show.
Meanwhile, Kyuhyun took the opportunity to promote his musical 'Death Note.' He prefaced his performance by saying, "I need to make an excuse. I just flew in after a concert and only slept for three hours."
Kyuhyun impressed with his powerful vocals, even wiping away tears during his performance, which caught the attention of the cast. They praised him, saying, "Why are you crying? You're a real singer," to which he humorously replied, "It's just too cold," causing laughter.
Kim Jong-kook facilitated a seating change in the car to place Ji Ye-eun and Roy Kim together. However, Ji Ye-eun joked, "I don't like lying down. I prefer hiking and reading," while Roy Kim humorously added, "I don't think we match well. I dislike that the most," causing laughter.
Roy Kim shared, "When I mentioned I was going on 'Running Man,' people brought up Yoo Jae-suk and Ji Ye-eun. Among those who like Ji Ye-eun, there's a decent guy." In response, Ji Ye-eun asked Kim Jong-kook to sing at her wedding, adding humor to the moment. She confidently stated, "I'm really a great woman."
After a meal, Ji Ye-eun, short on R-coins, playfully used a cute voice to ask Roy Kim for some. Roy Kim agreed to give her three R-coins in exchange for her saying he's her ideal type for three months. Ji Ye-eun humorously retorted, "Why three months? This guy is so strict," causing more laughter.
