Actor Heo Sung-tae Returns in 'Crash 2: Road of Fury' for 2026 Season
Heo will star as Jung Chae-man in ENA's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Crash 2: Road of Fury', scheduled to air in the second half of 2026.
'Crash 2: Road of Fury' is the sequel to the popular 2024 series 'Crash'. The show combines the unique theme of traffic crime investigation with thrilling team play by the Traffic Crime Investigation team (T.C.I), and high-speed car chase action, maximizing genre excitement. It made a significant impact by recording the second-highest viewership ratings in ENA drama history.
In the highly anticipated 'Crash 2: Road of Fury', the T.C.I team from Namgang-seo evolves into a national investigation unit under the National Investigation Headquarters, tackling traffic crime cases nationwide. The series promises to deliver another round of exhilarating catharsis to viewers with its relentless pursuit of increasingly cunning and large-scale traffic criminals.
Heo Sung-tae reprises his role as Jung Chae-man, the steadfast leader of T.C.I, who harbors the pain of losing his wife in a hit-and-run accident, as he embarks on a new case.
Returning for the second season, Heo expressed, "It's a meaningful project that can deliver a small but significant blow to a world where criminals, who commit illegal acts and evil deeds, brazenly act with hypocrisy." He added, "I'm truly grateful to be part of 'Crash 2' again and hope to unravel the mystery of Jung Chae-man's wife's hit-and-run case."
Heo Sung-tae continues his active career as a 'renowned actor', with casting announcements for MBC's new drama 'Fifties Professionals' set to air in the first half of this year, followed by 'Crash 2: Road of Fury'. There is keen interest in how Heo will portray new narratives and emotional arcs as Jung Chae-man, captivating global audiences once more.
'Crash 2: Road of Fury' is set to premiere in the second half of 2026 and will also be available on KT Genie TV.
