Kwak Tube Apologizes and Embraces Criticism on 'Jeon Hyun-moo Plan 3'
On the episode aired on the 13th, the reality food documentary 'Jeon Hyun-moo Plan 3' (co-produced by MBN, Channel S, and SK Broadband) featured Jeon Hyun-moo and Kwak Tube (Kwak Jun-bin) visiting a popular restaurant in Uiwang, Gyeonggi Province.
During the visit, Jeon Hyun-moo and Kwak Tube went to a restaurant famous for red bean noodles and red bean dumplings. Kwak Tube admitted, "I don't eat red beans, not even red bean shaved ice or red bean-filled fish-shaped pastries. I'm a fan of cream-filled ones."
Jeon Hyun-moo, puzzled, responded, "I don't eat cream-filled ones. Red bean is the original. The fish would be upset." Kwak Tube candidly shared, "I haven't really tried red beans, so I don't have a comparison. I think I should try it."
Unfamiliar with the taste of red beans, Kwak Tube added two spoons of sugar to his dish. Jeon Hyun-moo, while respecting his choice, couldn't hide his displeasure, to which Kwak Tube remarked, "That's not a respectful look. But it tastes better with sugar. The flavors blend well. My dad would probably eat ten bowls."
After the meal, Kwak Tube asked, "Can I take some red beans home? We haven't scattered them in our newlywed house yet." The owner offered to give them for free, but Jeon Hyun-moo insisted, "It won't work if you don't pay," joking about the size of Kwak Tube's house.
Kwak Tube, accepting viewer criticism, stated, "I need to improve. I can't be a dad who can't use chopsticks," showing determination. After losing a red bean transfer game, he humorously issued an apology, "I humbly accept the criticism and will practice my chopstick skills more."
Meanwhile, Kwak Tube married his civil servant wife, who is five years younger, last October and is expecting a son in March.
