Former Baseball Star Lee Dae-ho to Lead Busan Team in New Reality Show 'Our Neighborhood Baseball Captain'
Former baseball player Lee Dae-ho, known for his cumulative salary of 42.9 billion KRW, will take on the role of coach for the Busan baseball team in the upcoming reality show 'Our Neighborhood Baseball Captain'.

Set to premiere in April on KBS 2TV, this new sports reality show features retired professional baseball stars who will form teams with U-10 youth players from their respective hometowns and compete in actual league matches. The lineup includes KBO legends Park Yong-taek, Lee Dae-ho, Kim Tae-kyun, and Na Ji-wan.

Park Yong-taek, whose number is retired by the LG Twins, Lee Dae-ho by the Lotte Giants, Kim Tae-kyun by the Hanwha Eagles, and KIA Tigers franchise star Na Ji-wan will represent Seoul, Busan, Chungcheong, and Gwangju, respectively, as coaches. Their continued connection with their former teams is expected to evoke nostalgia among fans.

The show follows in the footsteps of KBS sports entertainment programs like 'Fly Shoot Dori', which produced national soccer player Lee Kang-in, and 'The Joy of Wrestling', which revitalized interest in traditional wrestling. 'Our Neighborhood Baseball Captain' combines the competitive spirit of sports with growth narratives, and is anticipated to create a new sports entertainment phenomenon.

'Our Neighborhood Baseball Captain' will premiere in April.
