Tensions Rise for Park Seo-jin's Family Ahead of Lunar New Year on 'Mr. House Husband 2'

Upon arriving at their Samcheonpo home, Park Seo-jin and his sister Hyo-jung are taken aback by their mother, who is lying in bed without energy. The family is already on edge as their mother, who was declared cancer-free from cervical cancer just two years ago, has recently been suspected of having thyroid cancer. Park Seo-jin, noticing her unusual behavior, presses her for answers, but she remains silent, creating tension even in the studio.

Sensing the uneasy atmosphere, Park Seo-jin and his sister hold a 'strategy meeting' to lift their mother's spirits. Hyo-jung employs her charm, while Park Seo-jin and their father attempt holiday cooking for the first time to change the mood at home. This effort leads their mother to finally open up about her feelings.

However, the peace is short-lived as a heated argument between their parents over holiday preparations disrupts the household once again. The siblings are then sent to the market with the ominous words, "If we don't find this today, it will be our funeral." Yet, even at the market, tensions rise between the siblings, with Park Seo-jin telling Hyo-jung to "run away again," escalating the situation further.
