Cha Seung-won Pranks Danny Koo in Hilarious 'Chagane' Episode in Tokyo
The sixth episode of tvN's variety show 'Chagane', aired on the 12th, showcased the diverse adventures of the Chagane crew as they embarked on a spicy business trip to Tokyo, Japan. With DinDin absent, the youngest member, Danny Koo, faced trials that strengthened the team's chemistry, capturing the audience's attention.
The Chagane crew set up their base in Tokyo's Kamiyamacho and began their spicy flavor exploration. Boss Cha Seung-won visited partner companies for market research and gathered information with the help of local experts. Meanwhile, the younger members focused on physical training, with Choo Sung-hoon impressing viewers with his intense workout regimen.
The dynamic between the stern boss Cha and the innocent Danny was captivating. After the prank, Danny became attached to Cha, who, despite grumbling, accepted his affection, showcasing his 'tsundere' boss persona. Cha also admired Danny's dedication, evident from his calloused hands and neck scars.
For efficient market research, the Chagane crew split into teams: Cha and Danny, Choo and Tommy. Choo revisited a park where he once disciplined his daughter, reminiscing with Tommy. They then explored a hot sauce shop, tasting various spicy sauces and discovering the global potential of Japan's yuzu kosho.
Reuniting, the Chagane team visited a 30-year-old motsunabe restaurant to delve into another spicy flavor, yuzu kosho. As they sampled different yuzu kosho varieties with motsunabe, Cha Seung-won selected the 'ginger yuzu kosho' as his favorite, pondering further spicy flavor development.
