Krystal Jung Transforms into a Wealthy Heiress in Upcoming Drama 'How to Become a Landlord in Korea'
Premiering on March 14, tvN's new weekend drama 'How to Become a Landlord in Korea' (hereafter 'Landlord') is a suspenseful series about a debt-ridden landlord who gets involved in a fake kidnapping scheme to protect his family and property. The drama boasts a stellar cast including Ha Jung-woo, Im Soo-jung, Kim Jun-han, Krystal Jung, and Shim Eun-kyung, raising anticipation.
Krystal Jung plays Jeon Yi-kyung, the only daughter of a wealthy family and the wife of Min Hwal-seong (played by Kim Jun-han). Jeon Yi-kyung is a character who grew up without any lack, appearing bright on the outside but harboring inner deficiencies. She maintains a mundane marriage with her pretentious husband while assisting her real estate mogul mother.
The released stills of Krystal Jung in 'Landlord' depict Jeon Yi-kyung living a seemingly enviable life as a wealthy heiress. Dressed in glamorous styles, Jeon Yi-kyung is seen mingling with people at banquets and parties, exuding a radiant smile and a poised demeanor. Curiosity builds around how Jeon Yi-kyung, who lived like a flower in a greenhouse, gets entangled in unforeseen incidents.
Having steadily built her filmography across movies and dramas, Krystal Jung is expected to portray the hidden deficiencies and cracks behind Jeon Yi-kyung's glamorous facade, showcasing a more intense and profound acting transformation.
The production team stated, "In the tense narrative of 'Landlord,' Krystal Jung unveils a new side of herself. Look forward to her performance as Jeon Yi-kyung, a character undergoing tumultuous changes."
'How to Become a Landlord in Korea' premieres on March 14 at 9:10 PM.
