Korean Singer Tae Jin-ah Reminisces About His Time in America with Wife Ok-kyung
In a special episode of TV Chosun's variety show 'Joseon's Love Conqueror,' airing on the 16th, a preview clip reveals Tae Jin-ah discussing the current condition of his wife, Ok-kyung, who is battling dementia. To create a 'reminiscence therapy' video for her, Tae Jin-ah revisited Times Square in the United States, a place filled with special memories for the couple, for the first time in 25 years.
He vividly reenacts the scene, saying, "When Ok-kyung would shout, 'Honey! The police are coming!' we would quickly pack up and head down to the subway to avoid getting caught." Although he now recounts these memories with a smile, Tae Jin-ah admits, "It was a dark and difficult time, like being in a tunnel with no light."
The video capturing Tae Jin-ah's memories with Ok-kyung in America will be aired on 'Joseon's Love Conqueror' at 10 PM.
