Kim Dae-ho and Yang Se-hyung Embark on a Winter Adventure in Remote Village on 'Save Me! Holmes'

Kim Dae-ho, who remodeled a house next to a $200,000 property in a hillside village, joins '109 Billion Building Owner' Yang Se-hyung on a journey to a remote village.

On the upcoming episode of MBC's variety show 'Save Me! Holmes' (hereafter 'Holmes'), airing on the 12th, the team embarks on a winter expedition following the 'Black and White Zone' segment.

In this episode, 'Natural Person' Kim Dae-ho, 'Dongducheon Genius' Yang Se-hyung and Yang Se-chan, and 'Paper Doll' Ahn Jae-hyun head to a remote village in Jeongseon, Gangwon Province, to observe how people endure the harsh winter. The village, known as the 'Land of Seclusion,' is deep in the mountains and lacks cell phone reception, hinting at a challenging journey from the start.

The first house they visit in the remote village is the first slash-and-burn farmer's house. Built with only earth and wood, this house, which was the grandmother's birthplace, retains its original charm without any remodeling. The presence of an old cauldron used for boiling cattle feed and a loft for storing straw gives the entire space a feeling of being frozen in time, leaving the visitors in awe.

During the kitchen tour, the Dongducheon-born Yang Se-hyung and Yang Se-chan brothers are delighted to find a silver washbasin, sparking a nostalgic exploration. Observing this, Jang Dong-min excitedly remarks, “This show should transcend eras,” causing laughter in the studio. The discovery of a frozen water supply and solidified cooking oil further reveals the harsh realities of winter life in the remote village, leaving the four in shock.

The homeowner, who has lived there for about 20 years, shares their life in nature with a calm demeanor. Upon learning about the homeowner's past, Yang Se-hyung and Yang Se-chan are taken aback. With the homeowner's permission, the team attempts to live in the house temporarily, raising anticipation about whether their lunch preparations will go smoothly.
