Boom Takes on MC Role in MBC's 'The Best of the Best', Excluded from Judging Panel

Boom, the popular TV personality, will serve as an MC for MBC's new show 'The Best of the Best', and will not be part of the judging panel.

On the 11th, a press conference for MBC's variety show 'The Best of the Best' was held at the Golden Mouse Hall in the MBC Broadcasting Center in Mapo-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by actress Lee Min-jung, TV personality Boom, and producers Kim Myung-jin and Chae Hyun-seok.

'The Best of the Best' is a unique audition showdown where winners from various music auditions come together to compete for the title of the ultimate champion. Lee Min-jung and Boom will host the show, while Baek Ji-young, Heo Sung-tae, and Kim Yong-jun join as panelists to witness the performances of these top-tier singers.

During the press conference, Boom was asked by reporters about potential bias due to his close relationships with some of the contestants. Boom responded with a smile, "It's true that I might feel more inclined towards participants I know well. However, both MCs do not have voting rights in the judging process. This allows us to enjoy the music and performances even more."

Boom added, "I've participated in many audition programs before, but 'The Best of the Best' feels like the ultimate showdown. I was deeply moved by the performances. I hope the audience will show it a lot of love."

'The Best of the Best' is set to premiere on the 15th at 8:50 PM.
