Moon Se-yoon's Bold Move and Thrilling Challenges on '2 Days & 1 Night'
The episode aired on the 8th, featuring the second part of the 'Gogunsan Archipelago Race' in Gunsan, Jeollabuk-do. The show maintained its top spot in the same time slot with a nationwide rating of 8.1% according to Nielsen Korea. A scene where Lee Jun, disguised as a VJ, won the morning mission, recorded the highest viewership rating of 11.6%.
During a break after lunch, Moon Se-yoon was the first to find the hidden mission note for the 'One Bite Meal Ticket'. He quickly headed to the 'Gido Lighthouse' on a scooter. However, he took a wrong turn, allowing DinDin, who found the mission note later, to reach the destination first and claim the meal ticket.
The '2 Days & 1 Night' team then moved to Seonyudo Middle School, the base camp for this trip, and engaged in a dinner game called 'Slippery Sports Day' to win a meal of fresh clam shabu-shabu. The members entered a slippery soap-filled arena for the first round of 'Balloon Wrestling'. Lee Jun emerged victorious after a fierce battle with Moon Se-yoon, earning 3 points.
Lee Jun continued his dominance in the second round, 'Flag Defense Running', securing first place with overwhelming speed and guaranteeing his spot at the dinner table regardless of the third round's outcome. With the first place decided early, a fierce competition unfolded among Kim Jong-min, Moon Se-yoon, DinDin, and Yoo Seon-ho for the second and third places.
In the final round, 'Bare Body Skeleton', the members showed their determination to win dinner by shedding their clothes. Kim Jong-min set a good record after taking off his top, prompting even Moon Se-yoon, who dislikes exposure, to join in, creating a rare and humorous scene.
In the end, Lee Jun, Moon Se-yoon, and Yoo Seon-ho secured the top three spots, enjoying a hearty clam shabu-shabu meal. Despite his efforts, Kim Jong-min failed to win dinner, even after taking off his pants.
The next morning, a peaceful '2 Days & 1 Night' team was startled by a sudden warning broadcast and siren, announcing, "You are surrounded. The police will arrive in 10 minutes." The production team informed the half-awake members that they would play the 'Cops and Robbers' game, popular among the MZ generation, as their final mission.
The five members, acting as 'robbers', had to avoid capture by 20 staff members acting as 'police'. If even one member could evade capture for 5 minutes, they would win the mission and go home immediately. If they lost, they would have to climb Daebong Peak again as a penalty.
During the 10 minutes before the police arrived, the members hid in different locations. Yoo Seon-ho boldly hid in a sewer right in front of the police base, despite complaining about the smell. The staff, unaware, passed right by him.
However, Moon Se-yoon, DinDin, and Kim Jong-min were caught in succession, and Yoo Seon-ho was also discovered, putting the '2 Days & 1 Night' team at risk of losing. But Lee Jun, disguised as his VJ, managed to break the members out of jail, and the staff couldn't find him before the time ran out.
Thanks to Lee Jun's perfect disguise and infiltration, the '2 Days & 1 Night' team avoided the Daebong Peak penalty and wrapped up filming on a high note. The members delivered laughter and excitement throughout the 'endless mission hell' of this trip.
