MBC's 'I Live Alone' Tops Ratings for 4 Consecutive Weeks with Engaging Episodes

MBC's 'I Live Alone' continues its reign as the top-rated entertainment program for the first week of February, marking its fourth consecutive week at the top. The show, which recently saw the departure of cast member Key, has captivated audiences with its engaging content.

The episode aired on February 6 featured the second installment of the 'Rainbow Run' special, showcasing the daily lives of Crying Nut's bassist Han Kyung-rok, celebrating his 30th debut anniversary, and Park Ji-hyun's winter survival tactics.

The household viewership rating for this episode reached 5.7% in the metropolitan area, securing the number one spot among Friday entertainment programs. Reflecting changes in media consumption, the key 2054 demographic rating also hit 3.2%, making it the top Friday entertainment program and the leading show for the first week of February. The peak minute-by-minute rating soared to 6.4%.

The highlight of the episode was 'Captain Rock' Han Kyung-rok, who revealed his move from his longtime home base in Hongdae to a new 'Captain Rock House,' describing it as a 'voluntary exile.' His contrasting lifestyle was showcased as he enjoyed a morning coffee in the sunlight, balancing his energetic 'Hongdae Captain Rock' persona with his introspective 'musician Han Kyung-rok' side.

Park Ji-hyun brought humor with her unique 'winter survival guide,' which included visiting a greenhouse and shopping at a traditional market. Her day was filled with small joys, culminating in a heartwarming home remodeling project with her close friend Kang Jae-soo.

The upcoming episode on February 13 will feature the third installment of the 'Rainbow Run' special, highlighting the life of 'Baby Beast' Chef Kim Si-hyun, known from 'Black and White Chef: Culinary Class War 2,' and Ok Ja-yeon's story as she welcomes a new family member.
