'Defconn Some How About It' Ends with a Heartfelt Confession and Kiss on 'Gag Concert'

The popular segment 'Defconn Some How About It' on 'Gag Concert' concluded with a heartfelt confession and a kiss from Shin Yoon-seung.

On the November 8th broadcast of KBS2's 'Gag Concert', the segment 'Defconn Some How About It', which began with the show's revival on November 12, 2023, ended after 2 years, 2 months, and 12 days. Having aired over 100 episodes, this segment became the second longest-running segment in 'Gag Concert' history, following 'Master'.

In the episode, Jo Soo-yeon was seen at the airport, ready to leave for ballet studies in Russia. Shin Yoon-seung rushed to the airport, and Jo Soo-yeon handed him an envelope, saying, "I wrote a letter because I might not be able to speak when I see your face." However, the envelope contained a Chinese restaurant menu, causing laughter as Jo Soo-yeon explained, "I was going to look at this in Russia."

Shin Yoon-seung wrapped a scarf around her, saying Russia would be cold, and packed food like kimchi, curry, tuna, and ramen for her. Eventually, Jo Soo-yeon boarded the plane, and Shin Yoon-seung read her letter, which expressed, "The moments with you were truly special. I genuinely liked you, Shin Yoon-seung." Feeling empty, Shin Yoon-seung shouted, "Did I like Soo-yeon? Soo-yeon, don't go!"

At that moment, Jo Soo-yeon ran back, saying, "I'm not going to Russia. I want to be with Shin Yoon-seung," and embraced him. Shin Yoon-seung humorously exclaimed, "My disc slipped," and pushed her away, causing laughter. He then confessed, "Will you date me?" and, amid the audience's chants of "Kiss," the two shared a real kiss to conclude the segment.

In another segment, 'Mirror Couple', which depicts a unique blind date between two confident individuals, Hwang Hye-seon and Song Young-gil's story unfolded in a sauna. Lee Soo-kyung, playing the mirror version of Hwang Hye-seon, lost her balance while mimicking a squatting pose and fell.

Towards the end of the segment, Hwang Hye-seon, Song Young-gil, and the 'mirror couple' Lee Soo-kyung and Kim Si-woo gathered together. Song Young-gil suggested a game of rock-paper-scissors, where the winner would crack a boiled egg on the loser's head. After winning, Song Young-gil said, "How can I hit your head?" and kissed Hwang Hye-seon's forehead. Meanwhile, in the mirror, Lee Soo-kyung forcibly grabbed Kim Si-woo's head to make him kiss her forehead, causing laughter.
