Actress Sunwoo Yong-yeo Reflects on Health After Stroke Diagnosis
On October 8, the YouTube channel 'Knowledge Inside' released a video titled 'Why Sunwoo Yong-yeo Was Confident Even in Front of Chairman Lee Byung-chul.' In the video, host Han Seok-jun asked Sunwoo about the incident in 2016 when she suffered a stroke during a broadcast shoot.
Sunwoo recalled, "I was leaving home in the morning, and since it was August, I thought it was just hot. Then I went to the broadcasting station." She continued, "During the recording, I was supposed to do an overlap, but I couldn't. I couldn't speak."
A colleague advised her to see a doctor. Sunwoo said, "At that time, (Kim) Kyung-ran stopped and came to me, asking, 'What's wrong, teacher?' There was an internal medicine doctor there. He asked me to raise my hand, but my left hand wouldn't go up, so I was told to go to the hospital immediately."
Her eating habits also changed. Sunwoo said, "So I started eating hotel breakfasts," explaining, "When I eat breakfast, I can choose what I want to eat. If I shop alone and buy food, I have to throw it away after one meal. So I decided it's better to just go for breakfast."
