Actor Lee Sang-yun Reveals He Considered Dropping Out of Seoul National University
During the episode aired on the 7th, Lee's close friend Yang Se-hyung praised him, saying, "He has so many strengths that I tried to find a flaw, but there are none. He has it all."
When asked about creator 'Honorary Brit' Baek Jin-kyung's English pronunciation, Lee candidly admitted, "I studied mainly grammar." Yang Se-hyung humorously added, "Although he graduated from Seoul National University, I've never seen him speak English."
It was the late Lee Soon-jae, also a Seoul National University alumnus, who persuaded him otherwise. Lee shared, "When I worked with the late Lee Soon-jae, he told me, 'Having the experience of completing something will make a significant difference in your life.' His words encouraged me to graduate."
The episode also featured a first look at Lee Sang-yun's home, showcasing a stunning view of the Han River, a spacious living room, a well-stocked wardrobe, and a library filled with textbooks, classics, humanities, and social science books. The library, in particular, evoked nostalgia with the presence of 'Mathematics Essentials', a book marked with study notes.
Lee expressed his dissatisfaction with the 'direct lighting' in the interior, saying, "I wanted indirect lighting, but my father persuaded me otherwise. The typical interior design is a disappointment."
Meanwhile, Lee Sang-yun humorously shared his skincare routine, saying, "It's all about washing well," and admitted to watching TV for 30 minutes without washing his face right after waking up.
