Yoo Jae-suk Hints at Retirement on 'Hangout with Yoo'
On the October 7th episode of MBC's variety show 'Hangout with Yoo,' titled 'It's Dangerous Outside the Blanket,' Yoo Jae-suk was joined by Ha Ha, Heo Kyung-hwan, Joo Woo-jae, and Kim Kwang-kyu.
During the episode, Heo Kyung-hwan expressed nervousness at Kim Kwang-kyu's appearance, fearing competition from the 'scene-stealer.' The members teased, "Today is the day of reckoning," while Kim Kwang-kyu openly expressed his desire to become a regular, saying, "Five members is just perfect."
Spotting a café during their journey, Kim Kwang-kyu jokingly offered, "Shall I buy a coffee to celebrate being a regular?" He then explained, "My mom asked if I only get treated by Jae-suk," revealing why he opened his wallet.
In conversation, Yoo Jae-suk wished Kim Kwang-kyu luck in finding a good partner this year, while Joo Woo-jae inquired about the total amount of wedding gifts Kim had given over the years.
When Yoo Jae-suk pressed, "What if I retire and lose influence?" Kim humorously changed his answer to "300,000 won," prompting laughter. Yoo Jae-suk, mentioning retirement for the first time, smiled and said, "I should prepare my heart."
Meanwhile, chef Jang Ho-jun, a finalist from 'Black and White Chef' and Heo Kyung-hwan's junior from Tongyeong, cooked for the members. Joo Woo-jae, taking on the role of a 'small eater,' engaged in a cooking battle. Watching Joo cook, Yoo Jae-suk humorously critiqued, "I don't like how you're doing it."
The preview for next week's episode heightened anticipation with the return of 'Infinite Challenge' members Jung Joon-ha and Park Myung-soo.
