Kim Hye-yoon's unexpected confession to Lomon in the SBS drama 'From Today, I'm Human' has sent viewers' heart rates soaring.

In the episode aired on the 6th, Eun-ho (played by Kim Hye-yoon) becomes aware of the unfamiliar human emotion of 'excitement' through Kang Si-yeol (played by Lomon). Eun-ho, who had previously vowed not to become human or fall in love with one, experiences an unexpected thrill. Meanwhile, Lee Yoon (played by Choi Seung-yoon) senses that a crucial clue to capturing Eun-ho lies within Hyun Woo-seok's (played by Jang Dong-joo) lost memories, adding tension to the storyline. The episode recorded a nationwide household rating of 2.7% according to Nielsen Korea.

At the scene of an orphanage fire, Eun-ho and Kang Si-yeol bravely rush in to save the children. Fortunately, Eun-ho regains consciousness in the hospital and, upon seeing Kang Si-yeol safe, bursts into tears of relief and worry in his arms. However, the touching moment is short-lived as an awkward tension lingers between them on their way home. Eun-ho's heart begins to race unknowingly, marking the start of her 'denial phase' of falling for Kang Si-yeol.

Meanwhile, Pal Mi-ho (played by Lee Si-woo) visits, expressing doubt about Eun-ho's progress as the fox bead shows no change. Despite not planning it, Eun-ho is puzzled that her heroic act of saving multiple children at the orphanage did not accumulate any spiritual power. Kang Si-yeol suggests they try a 'textbook' good deed and they volunteer at a nursing home supported by the Daehung Citizen Club, where an unexpected encounter awaits.

Kang Si-yeol is moved to tears by a miraculous reunion with his grandmother Kim Bok-soon (played by Cha Mi-kyung), whom he believed to be deceased. As Kang Si-yeol's fate changes, so do the circumstances around him. While he reconnects with his grandmother, Eun-ho is attacked by a mysterious elderly man. He accuses her, saying, "It's you, I know it's all because of you," and suddenly lunges at her, choking her. The man is Hwang Dong-sik (played by Jung Dong-hwan), currently hospitalized with dementia, and Eun-ho feels a strange familiarity with his son (played by Oh Min-seok).

Eun-ho confides in Kang Si-yeol that Hwang Dong-sik might be a past client who holds a grudge against her, saying, "I guess I'm being punished now for forcing someone to become human, which I didn't want to do, and being confronted with mistakes I don't even remember." She apologizes for dragging Kang Si-yeol into her punishment, to which he gently reassures her, "Once all this is over, I think I'll remember this moment as a special dream."

Towards the end of the episode, Kang Si-yeol's question, "Wasn't there anything good about becoming human?" makes Eun-ho's heart race once more. Her spontaneous response, "No, there was—you," followed by her candid confession, "I think this is what humans call romantic feelings. Kang Si-yeol, I think I need to date you," sparks a fiery reaction in their romance.

The next episode of SBS's 'From Today, I'm Human' airs on the 7th at 9:50 PM.
