Oh Sang-jin and Kim So-young Expecting Second Child Amid Pregnancy Challenges

On the latest episode of KBS 2TV's 'New Release Pyeonstorang,' Oh Sang-jin expressed concern over his wife Kim So-young's severe morning sickness.

The episode, aired on the 6th, featured the couple announcing the news of their second child. Oh Sang-jin, who debuted as a new chef on the show, shared, "I've mastered various cuisines like Korean, Western, Chinese, Japanese, and Thai to cater to my picky wife and daughter. With 25 years of cooking experience, I've tried everything." He successfully made rabbit-shaped rice balls to encourage his daughter to eat vegetables.

Oh Sang-jin revealed, "Our son is due this April. His nickname is 'Sudong,' as he is Su-a's younger brother. My wife has been struggling with severe morning sickness and can't eat much. She's sensitive to the smell of rice, so I'm exploring Western dishes." Kim So-young added, "It's physically challenging. It's different from my first pregnancy. Back then, I felt my body could handle it, but now I realize I've aged. I'm in my second trimester, but I haven't gained any weight. Thankfully, the baby is doing fine," expressing gratitude for her husband's cooking efforts.

Kim So-young, a 'hundred-billion-dollar CEO,' plans to return to work immediately after giving birth, entrusting newborn care to Oh Sang-jin. She said, "I can only rely on my husband. No matter how tough it gets, he never complains. He's amazing. I used to joke that he's like a robot, but he's truly a warm person. I'm grateful every day for having met such a wonderful person."

In response to a surprise video message from his wife saying, "We'll soon be a family of four. Let's live happily together," Oh Sang-jin was moved to tears and humbly replied, "Thank you for seeing us in a positive light," promising to take on the responsibility of raising their second child.

Oh Sang-jin, a former MBC announcer, married Kim So-young in 2017. They have a daughter named Su-a and are expecting a son in April.
