G-Dragon Explains His 'Like' Criteria on Instagram Amidst Jennie Dance Video Incident

K-pop star G-Dragon recently sparked a buzz by liking a dance video of Jennie, leading to curiosity about his criteria for liking posts on social media.

On the 6th, G-Dragon appeared as a guest on the 'Jipdaeseong' channel alongside his close friend Lee Soo-hyuk.

During the video, Daesung mentioned G-Dragon's social media activity, saying, "You are active as Kwon Ji-yong, but aren't you also known as the 'Like Fairy' on Instagram? Everyone is watching your Instagram."

When Daesung asked about his criteria for liking posts, Lee Soo-hyuk humorously suggested, "I guess you make mistakes sometimes. Is it about the number of likes?" indirectly referring to the incident where G-Dragon liked Jennie's dance video.

G-Dragon explained, "I need to promote myself, right? There are so many talented fans. I like to show appreciation by liking their posts. It encourages them to create more."

Regarding his criteria for liking posts, G-Dragon admitted, "Honestly, there's no specific criteria. I do it whenever I have a moment. I like posts so quickly that my fingerprints might disappear," he joked.

Daesung added, "Wherever I go, people ask about Ji-yong. Even Epik High members say getting a 'like' from you feels like a badge of honor."

G-Dragon humorously remarked, "In the past, I would have been a power blogger," and added, "I make mistakes often because my hands are big."

Meanwhile, on the 11th, the Golden Disc Awards' official social media posted a video of Jennie's performance at the Taipei Dome. G-Dragon initially liked the post but later unliked it, which drew significant attention. Both G-Dragon and Jennie were previously artists under YG Entertainment and have been rumored to be dating multiple times. At the time, their agency stated, "We cannot confirm personal matters."
