Actress Chae Jung-an Donates $10,000 to Support Vulnerable Communities
Actress Chae Jung-an, who was married in 2005 and divorced in 2007, has donated 10 million KRW (approximately $10,000) to charity.

On the 3rd of this month, Chae Jung-an contributed to the non-profit organization 'Wiki Korea' to assist marginalized communities and personally visited the volunteer site to lend a helping hand.

The donation will be used for 'Wicket Delivery' and the establishment of educational centers aimed at at-risk youth, young adults preparing for independence, and single mothers. Chae Jung-an expressed her desire to provide tangible support to those in need by funding the production of 'Wicket Boxes' (livelihood support boxes) that aid 150 individuals monthly.

In addition to her donation, Chae Jung-an visited the preparation site for the Wicket Boxes, which are to be delivered before the Lunar New Year holiday. She actively participated in volunteer activities, assisting volunteers in preparing holiday meals, reflecting her deep interest in sharing and community service.

Regarding her involvement, Chae Jung-an stated, "I wanted to provide practical help, even if small, to those in need, which led me to participate in both donation and volunteering. Filling the 'Wicket Boxes' myself was a meaningful experience that allowed me to reflect on the significance of sharing."

'Wiki Korea', the organization Chae Jung-an donated to, was established in 2023 and focuses on supporting young adults preparing for independence and others in need of social protection.

Meanwhile, Chae Jung-an is currently hosting the tvN variety show 'My Secret Butterfly Effect', which airs every Friday at 9 AM.
