Singer Park Seo-jin Shares Sibling Struggles on 'Malja Show'
The KBS2 variety show 'Malja Show,' aired on the 2nd, featured a special episode focusing on sibling relationships. The show revealed various stories, from wanting to remove a sibling from the family registry to feeling neglected by parents who favored an older brother.
Malja Grandma Kim Young-hee shared an anecdote about her and her younger brother. She humorously recalled, "On the day of my marriage meeting, my brother secretly told my husband to 'run away now.' At that moment, I really wanted to remove him from the family registry," causing laughter. She added, "My husband laughed then, but now he jokes that he regrets not listening to my brother," bringing more humor to the show.
Guest Park Seo-jin also shared a story about his sister. He confessed that he was so frustrated with his sister failing the GED for three years that he consulted a lawyer to see if he could legally remove her from the family registry, shocking everyone.
Park Seo-jin recalled, "My sister quit school because of our parents and prepared for the GED. We sent her to academies and tutors, but she couldn't pass for over three years. I thought it would be faster for her to just attend high school and graduate."
His sister had an unexpected reaction. Park Seo-jin said, "She just told me to go ahead with the lawsuit. She said she had no money to give me anyway and would just eat prison food and come out. I was speechless," he laughed.
The 'Malja Show' episode also featured audience members sharing their own sibling stories, creating a sense of unity among everyone present.
