Jo Jjaeze Talks Success and Future Plans on JTBC's 'Same Day Delivery to Our House'

Jo Jjaeze, a guest on the final episode of JTBC's 'Same Day Delivery to Our House,' opened up about his earnings and career.

On the episode aired on the 3rd, Jo Jjaeze showcased his candid personality when he requested beer over water, saying, "Water is cumbersome, and my throat is parched," leaving a strong impression on the hosts. Ha Ji-won was particularly taken by his straightforwardness, commenting on his bold and honest nature.

Jo Jjaeze, who initially ran a bar before pursuing a singing career, was praised by Gabi for his vocal talent. Kim Sung-ryung added, "It's a famous spot frequented by singers, and Jennie is a regular."

Kim Sung-ryung also shared that Jo Jjaeze almost closed his bar due to poor business, but his wife encouraged him to keep it open for another year. During that time, he met the composer of 'Do You Know,' which changed his career path. Jo Jjaeze acknowledged, "Meeting my wife was a turning point."

Jo Jjaeze boasts an impressive network, having attended Jennie's birthday party and received a famous kimchi gift from Park Jun-myeon. He humorously explained, "My sister takes care of me because I remind her of someone. I have family connections with Hong Yoon-hwa, BMK, and Park Jun-myeon."

With plans to release a new album in March, Jo Jjaeze shared, "Having many fans in their 40s and 50s made it special when I topped the karaoke charts. I'm from the karaoke generation." When asked by Jung Young-ran about the earnings from being number one, Jo Jjaeze replied, "It's good. That's why I could buy so much," with a meaningful smile.

In his first year since debut, Jo Jjaeze expressed, "Rather than seeking rapid success, I want to continue doing what I love, meeting great people, and making a living. I don't aspire to be a superstar; I want to have a long career as a singer, rather than just being funny on variety shows."

Ha Ji-won reminisced about past performances with Wax's 'Oppa,' which Jo Jjaeze found "shocking," comparing it to the best show since Na Hoon-a during the COVID-19 pandemic. Ha Ji-won humorously admitted, "I don't even go to karaoke or like it," showing a completely different side of herself.

Meanwhile, in a fortune-telling segment, Ha Ji-won was told she would meet someone new and marry in 3-4 years, to which she humorously reacted, "That late?"
