Actors Yoo Seon-ho and Shin Eun-soo Showcase Passion for Running on 'Run for Your Life 2'
The finale featured the 'Ultimate Crew Battle - Snow Run' in Pyeongchang, Gangwon Province, where 22 crews gathered to compete in a full-course relay race. Despite the harsh conditions with wind chills reaching -8 degrees Celsius, the teams demonstrated strong teamwork and successfully completed the race.
In the opening of the 'Ultimate Crew Battle,' the 'Run for Your Life' crew was divided into Crew A (Sean, Yang Se-hyung, Lim Se-mi, Lee Gi-kwang, Yoo Seon-ho) and Crew B (Lee Young-pyo, Ko Han-min, Choi Young-jun, Jung Hye-in, Lim Soo-hyang). Other strong contenders included the military crew Kangho, Anyangcheon Hongduke, Mokdong Marathon Class, Lunch Maniac, NO EASY DAY led by Hong Beom-seok from 'Physical: 100,' and Sim Jin-seok's Romantic Crew. Lim Soo-hyang expressed surprise at the scale of the event, saying, "It feels like a national team," while Lee Young-pyo exclaimed, "Winning here would be amazing."
In contrast, Crew B's first runner Jung Hye-in adopted a different strategy, stating, "All the runners are at least 10 minutes faster than me, so I can't just follow them blindly." He maintained his own pace and executed a powerful chase during the uphill section, improving his position from last to 14th.
The final runners were Sean and Lee Young-pyo. Sean, determined to make an impact, said, "Today, 'Run for Your Life' will make a mark. As the fastest, I'll take the anchor role." However, in the snow zone, he surprised everyone by sitting down, saying, "I feel dizzy." After a brief rest, he resumed running and crossed the finish line in 12th place, carrying the team flag.
The military crew Kangho claimed the ultimate victory, followed by KNPR, NO EASY DAY, Lunch Maniac, and Mokdong Marathon Class in the top five. After the race, runners expressed their joy, saying, "It was great to run, laugh, and connect together," and "I would have regretted not participating."
Lim Soo-hyang shared, "The expressions of people running are all happy; that's the charm of running." Yoo Seon-ho added, "The more I run, the healthier I feel, so I can't stop," showcasing his passion for running.
Yang Se-hyung commented, "It would have been a tough journey alone, but running together made it possible to finish," while Sean, the team leader, reflected, "Seeing everyone run joyfully and happily made me think, 'This is the real festival for runners.'"
