Jin Se-yeon experiences a wardrobe malfunction on a home shopping network.

The first episode of KBS 2TV's weekend drama 'Prescribing Love' aired on January 31, revealing the precarious reality of the Gong family, which seemed like the epitome of a perfect household. The episode garnered a viewership rating of 15.5%.

The episode began with Han Seong-mi (played by Yoo Ho-jung), a psychiatrist known as the 'Apostle of Love.' Despite her perfect public image, cracks appeared in her marriage with Gong Jeong-han (played by Kim Seung-soo), who forgot her birthday and prioritized financial discussions. Seong-mi's lament, "Love, what a joke," starkly revealed the bitter reality behind her title.

The Gong family's troubles didn't end there. Their son, Gong Woo-jae (played by Kim Sun-bin), suffered from anxiety due to exam stress, while their daughter, Gong Ju-a (played by Jin Se-yeon), expressed a desire to live as herself rather than just 'someone's daughter.' Adding to the family's hidden stories was Na Seon-hae (played by Kim Mi-sook), who longed for her husband who left 30 years ago. A scene where she mistook a passerby for her husband and caused a commotion hinted at the buried tragedy.

The conflict between Gong Jeong-han's clinic and Yang Ji-barun's herbal clinic, located across the street, also unfolded. Gong Jeong-han and Yang Dong-ik (played by Kim Hyung-mook) clashed over a refund issue for a local grandmother's herbal medicine, accusing each other of being 'materialistic' and 'hypocritical.' The revelation that Na Seon-hae's husband and Yang Seon-chul's (played by Joo Jin-mo) wife eloped 30 years ago added intrigue to the ongoing feud between the two families.

The Yang family also made a strong impression. Yang Dong-ik, who used location tracking to monitor his wife, and Cha Se-ri (played by So Yi-hyun), known for her bold charm, showcased an unusual marital chemistry. Adding to the drama was Yang Eun-bin (played by Yoon Seo-ah), who complained about her stepmother but pursued Gong Woo-jae with lunchboxes, and the stoic Yang Seon-chul, who secretly enjoyed snacks.

Gong Ju-a faced a wardrobe malfunction during a home shopping broadcast, which went viral as the 'home shopping exposure incident.' This incident led to a captivating first meeting with Yang Hyun-bin (played by Park Ki-woong), who had just returned from Argentina. Mistaking him for a restaurant employee, Gong Ju-a vented her frustrations, while Yang Hyun-bin watched her with a familiar gaze, creating a mysterious atmosphere. Their encounter at the beach, where Gong Ju-a shared childhood wounds under the influence of alcohol, hinted at a budding romance.

Towards the end of the episode, tensions in the Gong family reached a peak. Sharp words were exchanged during the great-grandfather's memorial, leading Han Seong-mi to declare, "I regret marrying you," to Gong Jeong-han. The episode concluded with Gong Jeong-han's announcement of a divorce, heightening the suspense about the family's unpredictable future.
