'I Am SOLO' Stars Sunja and Youngchul Announce Engagement After Reconciliation

ENA and SBS Plus's 'I Am SOLO' stars from the 23rd season, Sunja and Youngchul, have announced their engagement.

Recently, Sunja shared on her social media that Youngchul proposed to her. The romantic proposal scene featured roses, a cake, and a ring, along with the words, "Will you marry me?" The couple, who had previously broken up, have reunited and are now set to marry.

Sunja is known to be a cellist, while Youngchul works for an automobile company. Last October, following the broadcast of 'I Am SOLO: The Love Continues,' Sunja addressed a controversy involving gossip about fellow contestant Oksoon from the 23rd season during a live stream.

In the broadcast, Sunja, who was one of the individuals involved in the gossip controversy, apologized with a trembling voice. She stated, "I received many direct messages after the broadcast," and added, "I apologize for causing discomfort to the viewers." Sunja explained, "I had personal grievances with Oksoon from the first day, and my emotions erupted on the third day," admitting, "I failed to control my emotions properly." She reflected on the incident, saying, "Watching the broadcast made me reflect a lot. I will focus on growing and managing my emotions better in the future."
