Haha Threatens Legal Action Against Yoo Jae-suk on 'Hangout with Yoo'

Haha has hinted at sending a legal notice to Yoo Jae-suk.

On the January 31st episode of MBC's variety show 'Hangout with Yoo', Yoo Jae-suk, Haha, Heo Kyung-hwan, and Joo Woo-jae embarked on a harsh winter delivery mission in the remote village of Hongcheon, Gangwon Province.

During the episode, Haha and Yoo Jae-suk clashed while shopping for the residents of Hongcheon. Haha suggested buying traditional Korean sweets and Castella, which Yoo Jae-suk opposed.

Frustrated, Haha exclaimed, "Jae-suk hyung dislikes everything I suggest. Today is not the day. We argue too much. He rejects everything I choose. I'm going to send a legal notice to Antenna (Yoo Jae-suk's agency). This feels like harassment."

Despite the freezing -17°C weather, the four delivered essential supplies and calcium chloride to residents who couldn't easily access the town. The first delivery was challenging as they had to carry 20kg of calcium chloride uphill on icy roads. Joo Woo-jae, lagging behind, humorously cried out, "Have you ever seen someone struggling like this?" while lying on the ground. Heo Kyung-hwan passed by him, following Yoo Jae-suk, who dubbed him his 'Heo-yi-musa', a play on words meaning 'empty warrior'.

The group then visited the homes of local celebrities, Mrs. Yeom Hee-han and Mr. Kim Jung-tae. While Yoo Jae-suk and Haha were familiar with the homes, first-timers Heo Kyung-hwan and Joo Woo-jae faced recognition challenges. Mrs. Yeom mistook Joo Woo-jae for actor Yoo Yeon-seok, who had appeared on another show with Yoo Jae-suk. Heo Kyung-hwan tried to impress with his catchphrases, but Mr. Kim seemed unaware, prompting Yoo Jae-suk to tease, "The elder doesn't know you well." Meanwhile, Mrs. Yeom recognized the staff but not the cast, adding to the humor.

A friendly arm-wrestling match with Mr. Kim ensued. The usually reserved Mr. Kim smiled for the first time at the mention of arm wrestling and chose Heo Kyung-hwan as his opponent, deeming him weaker than 'paper man' Joo Woo-jae. Heo Kyung-hwan lost both recognition and honor, providing comic relief. Meanwhile, Joo Woo-jae, oblivious to the situation, exerted unnecessary force against Mr. Kim, prompting Yoo Jae-suk to intervene and maintain Mr. Kim's undefeated streak.

The group later returned to Mrs. Yeom's house to retrieve a forgotten rice cooker. Yoo Jae-suk warned newcomers Heo Kyung-hwan and Joo Woo-jae, "If you enter the house, you're a thief. Only those in the family photos can enter," before retrieving the cooker himself. During his absence, Haha plotted to leave Yoo Jae-suk behind, but the plan was quickly discovered. Joo Woo-jae swiftly switched sides, betraying Haha, while Heo Kyung-hwan remained silent, showcasing his diplomatic skills.

After their meal, the group enjoyed the winter scenery of Hongcheon at a natural sledding hill. Despite hitting their tailbones on rocks, they relished the sledding experience. Joo Woo-jae, showing his torn gloves, whined, prompting Heo Kyung-hwan to dismiss him with, "Stop it now." However, when Yoo Jae-suk called out, "Look at this!", Heo Kyung-hwan quickly became the 'Heo-yi-musa' and rushed over. As the crew gathered around Yoo Jae-suk, Joo Woo-jae was humorously left unnoticed, even less so than the rocks.
