Bae Jung-nam Reveals Last Romance on 'My Ugly Duckling' Kazakhstan Adventure

Bae Jung-nam, 42, has confessed about his last romantic relationship.

On the upcoming episode of SBS's variety show 'My Ugly Duckling,' airing on the 1st, the Kazakhstan trip of Bae Jung-nam, Lee Sung-min, Kim Jong-soo, and Kim Sung-kyun, who have maintained a friendship for 10 years, will be unveiled.

At the airport, actors Lee Sung-min, Kim Jong-soo, Kim Sung-kyun, and Bae Jung-nam showcased their decade-long chemistry with playful bickering. Lee Sung-min, who was chosen as the treasurer by majority vote, struggled with a series of mistakes, starting with counting cash. He realized he forgot his phone while attempting to set up roaming and left his wallet behind while exchanging currency, facing challenges from the start. Viewers are curious to see if treasurer Lee Sung-min can navigate the trip smoothly.

Upon arriving in Kazakhstan, Bae Jung-nam was spotted having a friendly phone conversation with a mysterious woman, sparking curiosity among the group. Lee Sung-min excitedly pointed out, “He’s talking to a woman right now.” During a meal, Bae Jung-nam surprised everyone, including the studio, by revealing, “My last relationship was early last year with a company employee seven years younger.”

Kim Sung-kyun, a father of three, wrote letters for his daughter to read each day during the trip, earning admiration from everyone. Bae Jung-nam arranged a traditional Kazakhstani sauna experience for his friends. They were taken aback by the unique outdoor cauldron bath and the intense Kazakhstani massage. The group was also surprised by the fully transparent glass accommodation, and a tense atmosphere arose when two members had to share a bed.
