Comedian Hong In-gyu Opens Up About Marital Struggles on 'My Money, My Tour 4'

Comedian Hong In-gyu has revealed that he is currently experiencing marital discord.

On the January 31st episode of Channel S's 'My Money, My Tour 4', episode 35, the cast members Kim Dae-hee, Kim Jun-ho, Jang Dong-min, Yoo Se-yoon, and Hong In-gyu embarked on a 'In-law Tour', visiting Kim Jun-ho's in-laws in Donghae, Gangwon Province, and then heading to Jang Dong-min's in-laws in Gunsan, Jeollabuk-do.

After enjoying the famous 'Mureungbyeol Yucheonji' in Donghae, the 'Dopbakz' crew dined at Kim Jun-ho and Kim Ji-min's favorite local restaurant. They ordered two crabs and assorted sashimi, exclaiming, “The taste of fresh seafood is different!” as they couldn't stop eating. During the meal, the restaurant owner mentioned, “My daughter was a classmate of Ji-min, and when I heard Kim Jun-ho was coming, I brought her elementary school graduation album.” Kim Jun-ho quickly reviewed the album and firmly stated, “This photo can't be aired.”

When the owner showed another photo, Kim Jun-ho remarked, “The high school talent show photo looks just like now. Beautiful~” and took a picture with his phone, showing his affectionate side. Jang Dong-min then asked the owner, “What was the local reaction when they heard Kim Jun-ho and Kim Ji-min were getting married?” The owner candidly replied, “Honestly, not great. People thought Ji-min was too good for him. But after meeting Jun-ho, they were surprised by his good looks and height. Now, everyone is happy!” Kim Jun-ho humorously responded, “Are you teasing me? I'm not that tall,” eliciting laughter.

After a meal costing around 400,000 won, the 'Dopbakz' played a 'Stopwatch Game' to decide who would pay for dinner. Surprisingly, Yoo Se-yoon, a professional singer, lost the game. After a fun game, they returned to their accommodation and ended the first night with spicy fish stew they brought from the restaurant.

The next morning, Kim Jun-ho suggested, “In Donghae, we always have gomchi soup for hangovers,” and they went to a recommended restaurant. The group enjoyed the spicy yet soft texture of the gomchi soup with aged kimchi. After a hearty meal, they played a 'Rock-Paper-Scissors Game' with their faces to decide the next payer. Kim Jun-ho and Hong In-gyu faced off in the finals, with Kim Jun-ho ultimately losing.

Thanks to 'Donghae's son-in-law' Kim Jun-ho, the 'Dopbakz' had a warm trip in Donghae and then headed to Gunsan, Jeollabuk-do. During the car ride, Kim Jun-ho expressed concern for Hong In-gyu, saying, “In-gyu is still in a cold war with his wife.”

When asked why they fought, Hong In-gyu explained, “We argued because of 'My Money, My Tour'. A fan at a restaurant criticized my wife for not doing well in the 'Wife Text Game', which upset her. I couldn't comfort her and had to leave for filming. I contacted her today, but she hasn't responded.” Yoo Se-yoon suggested, “Listen to our UV song 'Mother-in-law',” and Hong In-gyu, moved by the lyrics, ended up in tears.

During a rest stop, the 'Dopbakz' played a game for snack money. They tried 'claw machines' but ended up spinning a roulette, with Yoo Se-yoon losing again. Jang Dong-min announced, “For dinner, we'll eat at my father-in-law's favorite jjambbong restaurant.” Upon arrival, they ordered various jjambbong dishes, including clam, cuttlefish, and abalone jjambbong.

Before the meal, Jang Dong-min called his father-in-law, saying, “We've arrived and will visit soon.” His father-in-law warmly welcomed them, even offering to drive them if they drank. After the call, the jjambbong was served in large bowls filled with seafood, surprising everyone.

After enjoying the jjambbong, the 'Dopbakz' played a 'Mussel Shell Stacking Game' to decide who would pay for the meal and driving service. Yoo Se-yoon lost again, prompting Kim Dae-hee to cheer, “Yoo Se-yoon always loses in domestic trips!”

The 'Dopbakz' will continue their tour in Gunsan, meeting Jang Dong-min's father-in-law, in the next episode of 'My Money, My Tour 4', airing on the 7th at 9 PM.
