Kwak Dong-yeon, who previously worked with Cha Eun-woo on the tvN variety show 'Finnish Boarding House' that ended last February, is now teaming up with Park Bo-gum. 'Finnish Boarding House' had generated buzz before its release with its cast including Lee Je-hoon, Lee Dong-hwi, and Cha Eun-woo. However, post-broadcast, some critics commented that "only Kwak Dong-yeon stood out," and questioned the chemistry and entertainment value of the show.

On the 29th, an online press conference was held for the new tvN variety show 'Bo-gum Magical'. Attendees included Park Bo-gum, Lee Sang-yi, Kwak Dong-yeon, and PD Son Soo-jung.

'Bo-gum Magical' is a program centered around Park Bo-gum, who holds a national barber license, and tells a magical story set in a rural village. Park Bo-gum takes on the main role of 'Hair', Lee Sang-yi handles 'Nail Care and Customer Service', and Kwak Dong-yeon is in charge of 'Cooking', providing strong support. The team has shown exceptional dedication by participating in everything from location selection to remodeling over the past year.

Reflecting on his cooking experience, Kwak Dong-yeon said, "I've never lived thinking I would regularly prepare every meal for a long time. Making meals every day is not an easy task." He added, "After finishing lunch and cleaning up, I had to prepare dinner again. I have come to truly respect all homemakers. I realized how amazing it is for homemakers to take care of their family's meals. I would like to take over for a day for anyone."

Kwak Dong-yeon compared 'Bo-gum Magical' to freshly baked fish-shaped bread. He explained, "When you eat it fresh, the inside is moist and warm, and the red bean paste spreads in your mouth, but as you chew, you feel the crispy outer part." He expressed confidence, saying, "There are warm and sweet healing elements, but there are also fun scenes like the crispy edges. It seems like a harmonious program has been completed."

When asked about the show's highlights, Kwak Dong-yeon mentioned, "Various hairstyles completed by Bo-gum and nail styles by Sang-yi are all documented." He encouraged viewers to tune in, saying, "There are more diverse results than expected, so I hope you look forward to that part as well."

'Bo-gum Magical' is set to premiere on the 30th at 8:40 PM.
