Yoon Min-soo's Son Yoon Hoo to Appear on 'My Child's Romance 2'
The joint production by tvN STORY and T-Cast E Channel, 'My Child's Romance 2', is confirmed to premiere on February 25th. The first teaser video has been released, revealing the first participant of the new season.
Last year's 'My Child's Romance' gained attention with its fresh concept of adding a parental perspective to a dating show. It created a new formula for a generational empathy dating program by combining parents' biased reactions with the romance of youth, showcasing the grown-up children from past parenting shows now stepping into the world of dating.
Continuing this theme, 'My Child's Romance 2' focuses on the moments when parents see a new side of their children in love. The show promises to deliver more candid and bold romantic stories of young adults, alongside the heartfelt support and sometimes bewildered reactions of their parents.
He candidly shares, "If I like someone, I've even promised to fetch stars from the sky," while discussing his current fitness routine, which includes working out six times a week for over two hours each session. When asked about his charm point, he shyly responds, "Shoulders?" This transformation from a boy to a young man ready to talk about love piques curiosity about Yoon Hoo's romantic journey.
Yoon Min-soo, Yoon Hoo's father, is another highlight of the season. Known for his close friendship with his son, viewers are eager to see his reactions to Yoon Hoo's romantic endeavors.
The production team stated, "'My Child's Romance' is a program where parents watch their children's changing faces through love," adding, "Season 2 will double the emotional intensity." They promised more candid parental reactions to their children's expressions and choices, with more participants to be revealed soon. Viewers can expect even bolder romances and 200% immersive reactions from parents compared to season 1.
tvN STORY & E Channel's 'My Child's Romance 2' premieres on Wednesday, February 25th at 8 PM.
