Moon Sang-min and I’LL-IT's Minju to Depart from KBS2's 'Music Bank'
According to a report by TenAsia on the 28th, Moon Sang-min and Minju will step down as MCs of 'Music Bank'. Their final broadcast as hosts will be on the 30th. Additionally, the show's PD and writing staff will undergo a complete overhaul.
Moon Sang-min has been serving as the 'Music Bank' host since May 2024. He initially co-hosted with LE SSERAFIM's Hong Eun-chae and later with his successor, I’LL-IT's Minju. Over his 1 year and 8 months tenure, Moon showcased his stable yet entertaining hosting skills. Minju, who took over as host in October 2024, will be leaving 'Music Bank' after 1 year and 3 months.
Currently, Moon Sang-min stars as the character Lee Yeol in KBS 2TV's weekend mini-series 'Beloved Bandit'. The drama tells the story of a woman who becomes the greatest thief and a prince who chases her, with their souls swapping, leading to a dangerous yet grand romance that ultimately saves the people. The show is enjoying a steady viewership rating of 7%.
Next month, on the 20th, Moon Sang-min's upcoming Netflix film 'Pavane' will be released. 'Pavane' is a film about three individuals who, while living with closed hearts, become a light for each other, confronting life and love.
Meanwhile, Minju's group I’LL-IT is set to embark on their first tour across seven cities worldwide. I’LL-IT will kick off the tour with 'PRESS START♥? in SEOUL' on March 14-15 at the Ticketlink Live Arena in Seoul.
