Korean TV Personality Jeong Ju-ri Shares Hilarious Insights on Motherhood and Marriage
On the October 26th episode of TV Chosun's 'Joseon's Lovebirds,' viewers were treated to broadcaster Park Eun-young's journey of giving birth to her second child.
Park Eun-young humorously introduced herself as the "icon of late motherhood at 45." As she prepared for her second childbirth, she received natural childbirth tips from Jeong Ju-ri, a mother of five.
Jeong Ju-ri warmly welcomed Park Eun-young, who appeared with her full-term baby bump. Park shared, "Ju-ri taught me how to give birth. She advised me to push as if I were having a bowel movement," bringing laughter to the set.
Due to the demands of raising three children, Jeong Ju-ri opted for induced labor from her fourth child onward. She humorously recounted, "The epidural was a revelation. Once, while my husband briefly stepped out, I held off giving birth until he returned, just so he could witness the moment."
When asked about co-sleeping, Jeong Ju-ri replied, "The fourth and fifth sleep with us." Park Eun-young jokingly questioned, "Isn't that funny? When do you find the time?" Jeong Ju-ri confidently responded, "If you want something, you make it happen," eliciting laughter.
Jeong Ju-ri also flaunted her chemistry with her husband, who is a year younger. She shared, "Our last kiss was this morning. It's not just about kissing; it depends on what you focus on. I find him more attractive when he's a bit rugged and unkempt."
Meanwhile, Jeong Ju-ri confirmed, "We have no plans for a sixth child. After our fifth, my husband had a vasectomy, so more children are not in our future."
