Chef Jung Ho-young from 'Black and White Chef 2' has unveiled the secretive actions of his fellow chef, Choi Kang-rok.

On the October 22nd episode of KBS 2TV's 'The Penthouse Problem Solvers', Netflix's hit show 'Black and White Chef 2' TOP4 contestant Chef Jung Ho-young and Season 1 winner Chef Kwon Sung-joon, also known as the 'Napoli Mafia', made an appearance.

During the broadcast, when asked if there were any unexpected participants, Jung Ho-young revealed, "The participation of each chef was kept a secret. Especially Chef Raymond Kim, who was the overall advisor for Season 1, surprised us by joining the show."

Jung Ho-young further disclosed, "Chef Choi Kang-rok's participation was completely confidential. He had told me he wouldn't be on TV because he was writing a book, and we lost contact. Then suddenly, he appeared and said, 'It's me, I'm back for another try,' which made me feel betrayed."

Meanwhile, Jung Ho-young shared why he decided to join 'Black and White Chef 2'. He confessed, "I initially declined the offer for Season 1 and regretted it deeply. I didn't watch it for the first month because I was envious, but eventually, I watched it because it was so successful."

He eventually reached out to the production team first, saying, "I contacted the writer, pretending to check in on them, and that's how I got cast," revealing the behind-the-scenes story of his participation.
